Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The National Police Chief has awarded two gold pins to Chief of Kotabaru Police AKBP Ade Harri Sistriawan for successfully leading the dismantling of Fredy Pratama's international drug trafficking network, resulting in the seizure of 600 kilograms of crystal meth and tens of thousands of ecstasy pills.

"Alhamdulillah, I received the National Police Chief's gold pins in 2025 and 2026," said Ade after his inauguration by the South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Dr. Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan, in Banjarbaru on Monday.

Over the course of his career, Ade has held several strategic positions within the South Kalimantan Regional Police, ranging from Head of Unit 2 (Sub-directorate 4, Special Criminal Investigation Directorate) to Head of Sub-directorate 4 (Special Criminal Investigation Directorate), Head of Sub-directorate 4 (General Criminal Investigation Directorate), and most recently, Head of Sub-directorate 3 (Narcotics Investigation Directorate).

It was in the realm of combating drug trafficking that Ade demonstrated his major achievements by cracking down on the large-scale drug trafficking operations of the Fredy Pratama network.

In addition to being active in operations, Ade also continuously enhanced his academic and professional competencies.

The 2006 Police Academy (Akpol) graduate completed his bachelor's and master's degrees at STIK-PTIK, attended an Office Course at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, in 2019, and represented the National Police at the International Forum on Police Cooperation–Combating Transnational Crime in Taiwan in 2023.

Now, entrusted with the role of Kotabaru Police Chief, Ade is committed to continuing his dedicated service in maintaining public safety and order.

Ade strives to deliver optimal performance as an expression of his commitment to duty, honoring the mandate and trust placed in him by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who promoted him.
